Tsilk (清科丝宇) Technology is a biotech company that focuses on the research and development, production and sales of nano materials, silk nano fibers, silk derivatives, and other products.

Tsilk is looking to sell their products and to show case their research y fostering public interest and increasing transparency in bio-nan fiber industry .

Objectives

Create a dynamic and consistent branding system that effectively unifies the company's mission, image and its products.

Design a responsive website that not only show case the company profile, mission and product, but also is visually captivating and futuristic.

Challenges

1. As a startup in the biotech industry, the founding members of the team primarily come from the scientific research field and may not have a clear understanding of brand positioning. Therefore,I need to conduct extensive industry research and analysis and be highly involved in the brand strategy development process.

2. The products mainly consist of nanomaterials, whose form is difficult to present visually in a clear and aesthetically pleasing way. Therefore, I need to use innovative visual methods to showcase the company's different products, unique technology, and production process to introduce its characteristics.

3. The project is fully managed by the designer, from conceptualization and design to website development, which involves not only design-related work but also non-design-related work such as front-end development. Thus, the I need to learn new tools while completing the development work during the design process.
